The World Apostolate of Fatima Monstrance

In August 2004 a Polish artisan created a beautiful 43-inch high monstrance for the World Apostolate of Fatima of the St. Paul/Minneapolis archdiocese.  It was shipped from Poland and arrived just in time for the October 7th, 2004 Children's Rosary Program at the St. Paul Cathedral and Benediction by Bishop Campbell.  Can you imagine the St. Paul Cathedral filled wall-to-wall with children, 3300 strong, worshipping our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament?!

The monstrance then traveled to Fargo, North Dakota for their Eucharistic Congress where it stayed for three days.  Since then it has been appearing at the World Apostolate's all night prayer vigils  as well as Sunday afternoon Rosary and Benediction (in conjunction with the St. Paul Knights of Columbus council #397) at various parishes throughout the archdiocese.

Would you like to reserve the monstrance or the statue of Mary for a celebration of Eucharistic adoration or Marian devotion at your parish?

If so, please have your parish priest call the monstrance custodian, Maurice Prater at least three weeks in advance at (651) 487-3284.

The monstrance was purchased with children in mind so that they can grow to understand and appreciate the gift Jesus gave to us in the Blessed Sacrament.

Depending on schedules, arrangements will be made to have the monstrance delivered to your parish by the custodian or another World Apostolate of Fatima board member with either a consecrated or an unconsecrated host.  If a consecrated host is desired, the church tabernacle must be available for reposing the Blessed Sacrament immediately upon arrival.

Whatever the Eucharistic occasion, it must be one that is reverent and planned in consideration of Our Lord being truly present in body, blood, soul, and divinity.
